Three months to go before finally moving to Canada!

Last week, we finally booked our one-way tickets to Canada. It suddenly feels all too surreal and time seems to go by quicker now that we’ve started to accomplish the major things one needs to do before migrating to another country.

It is indeed a very bittersweet time in our lives.

We decided to leave on the month of June for one main reason – the weather. Since we’ll be going to Prince Edward Island, we wanted to be able to take advantage of the great summer season of the island. Also, the relatively warm temperatures during that season will allow us an easier transition to Canada’s climate.

Here’s our planned itinerary:

  • Manila – Toronto (via PAL, with a layover in Vancouver)
  • Stay in Toronto for a couple of nights to meet with a few friends, maybe do a little sightseeing of the CN Tower and the Niagara Falls
  • Toronto – Charlottetown (via Air Canada Rouge)
