Beautiful Toronto, Ontario

Good news for those thinking of moving to Canada!

The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program will be reopening next week with three streams.

1) International PhD Graduate Stream
2) International Masters Graduate Stream, and
3) Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream.

Seems like Ontario is now focusing on attracting students into their province. You can read more about a student’s path to permanent residency here.

For the Human Capital Priorities Stream, we’re not sure if there will be a cut-off to send in your expressions of interest, but if you haven’t, you should already do so. 🙂

Visit Ontario Immigration’s official page on the OIPNP here.

In our next post, we’ll be taking a look at the how Express Entry performed last 2016. With a lot of changes made within the year, it will be interesting to take a dive into the statistics.

Moving to Canada will be a daunting task for anyone and If there’s anything you want to ask, feel free to leave a comment below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can! Alternatively, we’ve also set up Twitter and Instagram accounts, so we can also talk and get to know more about each other there.

  1. Hi Friend! ONIP sends notification of Interest (NOI) to candidates they are interested. Unfortunately candidates cannot send EOI, unlike PEI nomination. I’ll let you know if Ontario sends us the NOI! Fingers crossed!
